I'm so very sorry to be posting this. George died yesterday, very peacefully, in the Hospice in Exeter. We went in there in the morning after his condition deteriorated, and I was with him.

Alex and Theo (and Jo) had visited the day before, and Anne also came round for a private communion.

I will post again in a few days.

Christine

  3. Oh Christine I am so sorry to hear this. He fought so long and hard and truly didn't deserve to go through so much. He was always so kind to me, and everyone, and helped so many of us in the village. He used to smile when I called him "my fourth son".
You too have been so brave. Our love and thoughts are with you.
